Twenty-three patients had postoperative complications, and the total morbidity was 8.3%. Seven anastomotic leakages occurred (2.5%). The mortality rate was 2.5%.CONCLUSION: The single-layer anastomosis with interrupted extramucosal sutures after colon resection is safe and effective. |
