Welcome to the renewed website of the Faculty of Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). Creating a website is no longer a novelty or originality, but an obvious requirement of a modern academic institution like our Faculty.

The size of the Faculty, the complexity of the system administration, the complexity, the proliferation of clinics and workshops at 7 collaborating hospitals in Thessaloniki and the increasing flow of information necessitates the operation of this site.

Apart from the need of our Faculty, we, as a public school we are obliged to open this wonderful window of communication to all involved. To the Administration and the Departments of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, to other Educational Institutions of Greece, to all services and agencies of state and local government and, above all, to the citizens of this country that thanks to them we exist, and operate as a school for them .

To meet the huge and growing needs of the modern era, we need constant and reliable communication and information.

In recent years, the Faculty evolved gradually and methodically in equipment and infrastructure programs, integrated advanced computer systems and staffed with qualified personnel so as to exploit the potential of modern technology.

These features, as we know, are of course limitless. Starting from the simple but necessary, we can gradually move to full automation and the development of digital systems for a prompt and effective communication

It does not suffice to just create a "static" website. To remain "live" and useful requires constant maintenance and continuous input. Our interaction is a prerequisite. Everyone has an obligation, or more precisely, the right to provide the information requested, correct errors, propose changes and update up to date information.
