Abstract | OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was to investigate the role of the extended Abbé flap in the reconstruction of complex midfacial defects (upper lip, nasal base and medial cheek). We describe our personal experience with this method and present some interesting aspects from the relevant literature. |
